HOW IT WORKS
Quality and compliance
Every folding carton lot is tested against six physical methods in the plant laboratory and ships with its test report and a Certificate of Conformance. The plant is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and operates to BRCGS packaging and SEDEX ethical sourcing standards.
What a supplier questionnaire asks, answered in one place.

Documented by the lot
Compliance for a folding carton comes down to two questions: was it made the way the specification says, and can a batch be traced a year later. Each lot answers both on paper before it leaves the plant.
- Per lot
- Certificate of Conformance
- Per order
- Completed test report, six methods
- Per shipment
- Invoice, packing list, packing detail
- Traceability
- Part number to production record
- Inks
- Food-grade and low-VOC
- Out of specification
- Remake at no cost, or a credit
Standards
Certificates are available on request.
ISO 9001
Certified. Quality management, with a test report and Certificate of Conformance issued per lot.
ISO 14001
Certified. Environmental management.
ISO 45001
Certified. Occupational health and safety.
BRCGS
Operates to BRCGS packaging standards for hygiene, contamination control and traceability.
SEDEX
Operates to SEDEX ethical sourcing requirements.
FSC
Compliant. Chain of custody practice, with responsibly sourced paperboard.
Traceable by part number
Each SKU carries a part number from order entry through delivery. The approved proof, the retained shade card, the board ordered and the press settings are held against it, and so is every lot run under it with its test results.
Batch labels on the master cases carry the same reference, so a carton on a shelf can be walked back to the run it came from, the board it was printed on and the results it was released against.
- Board
- Grammage tested at goods-in against what was ordered
- Lot
- Tested and released against its acceptance criteria
- Case
- Batch labeled back to the production record

Which document, and when
Most of what a compliance file needs ships with the order. The rest is sent to a buyer who asks.
| Document | When | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Certificate of Conformance | Every lot | The lot was made to the approved proof and shade card |
| Test report | Every order | Results for the batch against each of the six methods |
| Packing detail | Every shipment | Contents by master case, to reconcile against delivery |
| Certificates | On request | ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 |
| Specification record | On request | Board, caliper, finishes and dieline held against the part number |
A certificate of analysis is a chemistry document and is not issued for a folding carton. For food and pharmaceutical buyers the batch test report is the document in its place.
Questions about quality and compliance
ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety. The plant also operates to BRCGS packaging standards and SEDEX ethical sourcing requirements. Certificates are sent to a buyer who asks for them.
No. A certificate of analysis is a chemistry document. For a folding carton the batch document is the completed test report, which ships with every order alongside a Certificate of Conformance for the lot.
The batch is traceable by part number to its production record and test report, and you choose the remedy: the order is remade at no cost to you, or a credit is issued if you would rather not wait for a remake.
Inks are food-grade and low-VOC, and the plant operates to BRCGS packaging standards for hygiene and contamination control. Certificates for the food-grade inks and the board can be supplied with the order.
Yes. Customer and third-party supplier audits are accepted with 24 hours’ notice, and a completed supplier questionnaire can be sent before a first order. Audits are held in person at the plant, walking the line from press to dispatch. For a virtual audit, ask in the notes when you book.
Book an audit dateYes, including supplement, food and pharmaceutical cartons such as vial and ampoule cartons. Every lot carries the same test report and Certificate of Conformance, and anti-counterfeiting features can be built into the carton where a product needs them.

Certificates, the specification record and a sample test report go to a buyer who asks, and the plant is open to visit. Landed cost runs 20 to 30 percent below a comparable US supplier quote.
